Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)
The Winterthur Institute for Health Economics and the Association of Doctors for the Winterthur/ Andelfingen region AWA have been working intensively for several years to establish Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) for medical practitioners, as well as insurance specialists, politicians and health care professionals. This is implemented by means of courses specifically designed for the target group and benefit research by the Institute. We offer EBM seminars, intensive courses, and workshops.

Searching the literature
By the end of this course, participants will be able to find and secure relevant literature dealing with basic problem areas from their daily professional lives.

Further training for accredited work invalidity assessors (ZAFAS)
This further training course is designed for medical practitioners in Switzerland who wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of work invalidity assessment. This forms the basis for developing an insurance-medical body in Switzerland.
