In addition to the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) und Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS), the Winterthur Institute of Health Economics also offers courses in the field of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) and tailor-made, internal continuing education for companies.

The course is addressing the participants of the MAS MHC who are interested to argument and work in a firm scientific manner.

The Winterthur Institute for Health Economics and the Association of Doctors for the Winterthur/ Andelfingen region AWA have been working intensively for several years to establish Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) for medical practitioners, as well as insurance specialists, politicians and health care professionals. This is implemented by means of courses specifically designed for the target group and benefit research by the Institute. We offer EBM seminars, intensive courses, and workshops.

This further training course is designed for medical practitioners in Switzerland who wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of work invalidity assessment. This forms the basis for developing an insurance-medical body in Switzerland.
